Alcoholism

Alcohol is not a foreign substance to the body - it is produced in small amounts in the intestine by micro-organisms that cleaves the sugar we eat. Therefore we also have enzymes to metabolize alcohol (alcoholic hydrogen regarded, ADH, and a microsomalt ethanol-oxidizing system, MEOS). ADH is found in the liver (and intestine) and accounts for 90% of decomposition.
Men have more ADH then women do, and the concentration of it is constant. The concentration of MEOS (catalase, cytochrome P450) it does however varies from 5 to 30% depending on the drinking habits. By ingested alcohol it is excreted 5% distributed through the skin, urine and exhaled air (utilized alcoholmeter, <balloons>).
In Average we burn approx. 120 mg alkahol per kg body weight per hour. It means that a person weighing 70 kg  are using an hour and a quarter to burn one unit of alcohol, which is equivalent to 3 cl liquor, 33 cl beer, 12 cl wine, 8 cl liqueur. There are about 6 units of alcohol in a bottle of wine and 1.5 in a bottle of strong beer. A chronic alcoholic can increase his metabolism by 150%.
In the blood alcohol is measured by per thousand, and a per thousand is equivalent to 1 gram of alcohol per liter of blood.
Already after two bottles of beer the enzyme ADH gets blocked.
Acetaldehyde is the intermediate responsible for alcohol's cell killing and mutagenicity. If we lack the enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase, this intermediate pile up and damage the liver, heart and the blood stream.
In the brain it reacts with neurotransmitters to form morphine-like substances that create dependencies. We do not know why someone becomes addicted to alcohol relatively quickly, while others seem to be spared dependencies.
In Denmark it is estimated that 1/4 milljon people are addicted to alcohol. It is therefore a question of a disservice if employees in the health care encourages cardiac patients to drink three alcoholic drinks daily to keep cholesterol levels down.
Alcohol itself is a poison to the cells that the body must struggle hard to detoxify. The biggest problem is probably the harmful byproducts of alcohol: wood spirit (methanol), biogenic amines (histamine, tyramine), dyes and harmful chemical compounds (sodium, etc.).
The amount of wood spirit varies from 4 to 4000 mg / l in the various alcoholic beverages. The body converts it to formaldehyde and formalin

The latter substance is what they use to embalming the dead. A slow, live embalming from the inside is no good for your health in the long term.
Alcohol is diuretic. It dries out the body if we do not replace fluid loss with water.
It also increases the loss of important minerals in the kidneys.
The intermediates discussed above are harsknere (oxidants). They are neutralized by vitamin C and E and other antioxidants. If these are not supplied in extra large quantities, it will be serious losses.

The American scientist Herbert Sprince gave attempt rats acetaldehyde in a dose that caused 90% of them to die.
A similar group received the same dose, but also vitamin B1 and C as well as the amino acid cysteine. In this group none of the animals died.

Pherhaps it would be a good idea to add these vitamins to all alcoholic beverages. That would at least secure the community great returns in the form of savings in the health sector.

However, it biggest impact would been of that nature that can never be calculated or measured with money.

Nearly all electroniccigarettereviewedx.com/ are generally portable, self-contained round systems the
dimensions of a fabulous ballpoint compose and also secret marker; though measurements can vary, typically thanks
to varying power capacities. Plenty of electronic cigarettes
are intended to appear to be particular cigarettes as well as stogies, and even
pontoons. Nearly every one is even used, by means of disposable together with refillable portions, but a majority of
designs tend to be use-and-throw. The potential gains
or possibly unwanted side effects regarding electronic
cigarette usage undoubtedly are a issue with difference involving various overall health firms and scientists.
